We offer unique images for your decorating pleasure - buy one or one hundred - you'll be pleased and so will we, frankly.

These are not photographs in the classic sense, nor are they digital constructions. Instead we've crafted colorful graphics using found objects and a camera, plus some digital manipulation, uh, I mean, magic.

From the SHOP below, you'll choose your favorite image with options, and PIXELS.COM will print it on archival paper with pigment based inks, and frame it if you like! They will handle payment and shipping, so it's easy to get a GRACE FROM GADGETS art print for your own!

ABOUT GRACE FROM GADGETS

Found things, lost, forgotten, lost then forgotten. Then found - I forget where. I was going to write it all down, a catalog for each thing and where I found it. Then I lost the notebook I was going to use, or I forgot where I left it.

Good thing I had a box. It's big enough so I can't really lose it or forget where I put it. Not yet, anyway. The things can go in there until it's full, then I'll get another, then another, and so on, then I'll wish I had that notebook.

Of course, my momma didn't call me "Grace From Gadgets". That comes from a quote by J.B. Priestley - “We cannot get grace from gadgets. In the Bakelite house of the future, the dishes may not break, but the heart can. Even a man with ten shower baths may find life flat, stale and unprofitable.” I suppose he meant to say that "having things" can't bring us closer to the divine or ground us in the now, but I disagree generally about gadgets. As an artist and a musician I find gadgets can transcend their wired plastic frame and help us see into unique corners of human experience.
